Celebrity Appearances at 33rd Annual World Championship Ice Racing Series

Get ready for even more excitement at the 33rd Annual World Championship Ice Racing Series! Celebrities Branscombe Richmond, Bernie Kopell, and Bo Hopkins will be here to join in the festivities and sign some autographs. They will be at the arena to help promote Sears Centre Arena's benefit concert taking place at our Monster Truck Nationals event in March. The benefit will be held in memory of George Eisenhart, the emcee and owner of Image Promotions which produces the Monster Truck Nationals show.

Branscombe Richmond - Actor, director, entertainer, Branscombe Richmond is best known as “Bobby Sixkiller”, the high-flying bounty hunter on the hit television series, “Renegade.”  He has logged over 300 hours of television and 100 motion pictures.  His motion picture appearances include Scorpion King, Batman Returns, Commando, License to Kill, and recently released on DVD Forgetting Sarah Marshall. On television he has appeared in many episodic programs including Walker Texas Ranger, Hunter, and Beauty and the Beast.
 
Besides his acting and directing career, he tours the world singing with his rocking 10-piece band, a national act, Branscombe Richmond & The Renegade All-Stars.  Branscombe and the Posse serve up a mixture of rock, country and R&B that gives something to everyone.

 
Bernie Kopell - Bernie Kopell is instantly recognized as “Dr. Adam Bricker” from The Love Boat and “Siegfried”, Agent 86’s nemesis on Get Smart. He has also done several appearances in shows like Charlie’s Angels, The Six Million Dollar Man, Bewitched, and Mary Tyler Moore. Kopell just recently made a cameo appearance in the 2008 film adaptation of Get Smart.


Bo Hopkins - Bo has worked in Hollywood with a wide array of actors including Sean Penn, Steve McQueen, James Caan and Burt Reynolds. His first television appearance came in 1967 as he guest-starred on The Andy Griffith Show. This led to appearances on Dynasty, Bonanza, Hawaii Five-O, Charlie’s Angels, The A-Team, and Murder She Wrote.
