The Sears Centre Arena is excited to welcome a new hockey team to Hoffman Estates! This new team -- yet to be named -- will be part of the ECHL Premier "AA" Hockey League.
You can name the team! 
The new team is having a naming contest! You can submit a name for the new team on their website, www.nameyourhockeyteam.com, and tell them why you think it's perfect. After careful review by their moderators, your submission may appear on the voting page. *All name submissions must be received by July 21.

About Craig Drecktrah, team owner
The team's owner, Craig Drecktrah, is a longtime minor league hockey owner.
•Owned the Chicago Hounds of the UHL
•Co-owned the Rockford IceHogs, and won the UHL Championship in 2007
An engineer by trade and former CEO of American Parts Distributors, Craig is keenly aware of the realities involved with owning and managing a professional hockey team, especially during a tumultuous period for the national economy. But Craig's business background and love of the sport make him uniquely adept to introducing a new team to the region's self professed "Hockey Town!"
